Gas tank update

Ok, so now its blue.
Adark blue......rattle can with rattle can clear coat.
Looks decent so far, but not like the job i did last weekend.
Pics are posted on the "dailing in the virago", and ill soon, get some of the blue!
Pain in the ass

Been there man, I know!!! might turn out pretty sweet if you rub out the orange-peel, after I did.. I cant not anymore haha, really makes rattle can paint jobs look decent (till something scratches in the soft spray paint )

What did you use on that?
the directions on the can say to do it after 48 hours, ive heard toothpaste or even baking soda work awesome.

3M Imperial Microfinishing Compound-Liquid 06011 (think its the 2nd part of a 2-part compound)

ya got me thinkin! I could see how tooth paiste might work, I know Ive seen people use it to refine parts (slides, floatvalve needles etc)

gonna have to try it on something now haha

where do you get that shi..........stuff?
Im almost afraid to do anything to it now, it looks decent....i can live with some orange peel.....oh yea!did i mention its not my bike?]!
