I agree. All emo people need a hug. Let's strap him to a chair and hug it out so he can't resist.

Picture if you will, 2 threads about generally the same thing.

One, a triple x rootbeer bike night thread.

The other, a general PNWer thread.

Notice the amount of intrinsic respect between the old timers, the lack of butthurtedness over sarcasm, the "mods" trying to fit in.

Then flip over to the other thread and see the "mods" nannying the fucking hell out of the new batch, butthurtedness that puts Richard Simmons to shame, and mod sanitized "conversation".

I'm kind of 50% in for this. Just not sure if I'll feel well enough.

Maybe if I nap right now I can work up the enthusiasm for later.

Man that hug looks more uncomfortable than the time I thought that fear can sometimes be a useful emotion. For instance, let's say you're an astronaut on the moon and you fear that your partner has been turned into Dracula. The next time he goes out for the moon pieces, wham!, you just slam the door behind him and blast off. He might call you on the radio and say he's not Dracula, but you just say, "Think again, bat man."
