Same here. Yardy never mentioned whether you made it back/home or not. I was scared to ask as Barry didn't seem to keen on direction back to you.

That'd be what it says, kudos on reading comprehension.

And shirking the question as well. You apparently have no job.

In which case, your bike is property of the forum members, b/c you're probably on unemployment.

In which case, I'd like it to be painted pink please.

With rainbows on the side. And white rims. Yes...that'd be perfect...white rims.

Maybe a touch of yellow on the front fender, you know, just to set the whole thing off. That'd be super sweet.

That a plastic gas tank on that thing? Is it street legal or do you have a DOT approved one on its way as well?

Try what? Was curious, the DRZ has a small metal tank...was debating maybe someday putting a bigger plastic one on.

need to find a oil cooler before i try any commuting.

as purpose...

cart track
big track
dirt
urban

what more?

id like to ride it to work a few times, goof off in the harbor, but with .8 of a quart kinda gets warm on any long term rides.

Try the new "scroll" feature. I hear it works wonders.

And I am being an ass. And I'm not fucking editing my post like a pussy to tell you "I'm just kidding".

That just happened.

Distanzias are back on the killer. changed out the sprockets to something more commuting friendly. drained and flushed the front forks and went to a heavier fork oil.

because i like to.

fork oil was just general maintenance and the sprockets and tires were to make it more commuting friendly.

lizi has the xr650L

which is legally a dual sport according to it's MSO

*side note

i've ridden lizi's xrl, and thought the power was pretty good, but didn't really power wheelie all that much. might have been gearing. also, she definitely did not upgrade her master cylinder when she did the sumo brake swap. there was no bite in the brakes at all.

PM PeteN95. He has one. It is a fuckin weapon. It takes a little work to convert, but nothing you couldn't handle - Just don't try to practice your lean while on a dirt bike stand. They aren't as forgiving as front and rear sportbike stands....

I had a PM from him explaining the whole conversion procedure (when I was thinking about it), but I guess I deleted it.

PS, by all accoutns the XR650L is a heavy pig (kinda like a KLR ) compared to the XR650R
