aug 16 Baker

Meetup : I'll try to be there before 0345 SATURDAY morning
Leaving gas station(11848 NE 85th St. Kirkland, WA 98033)across street from Lee Johnson at 0400 sharp.
(unless DJ wants to go), sorry old man, time has been set.

Close to 6hour round trip. (pulled that one out of my ass, really can't remember how long it should take) Ride is dependent on weather alone now.

In's

1. Inspecta (the slow guy who doesn't want to lead)...............................95%
2. R6_DSM (slower then the slow guy {for now}, but rides his own ride)......95%
3. +1 (another mystery rider)............................................ ...................95%
4. ChrisGrundy (mystery rider)............................................ ..................75%(?)
5. Seller of Things (who am i kidding, he's out)........................................113%
6. WAFP (I'm so naive, i actually think he will show)..................................99.9%
7. Plummy (she's with us in spirit?).......................................... .............100%
8. The Turk (girlie SV rider)............................................ .....................25%
0. LittleJulie (5' tall<----that's all I got right now)...................................Out(is interested in St. Helens next Sun)

*i think the following weekend i should hit up St. Helens. just don't know what is open.

Leaving Kirkland at 0400, (unless DJ wants to go), then leaving a little later to accommodate the old man.

Whoa there fella. I'm the one that started the morning rides. Eric just has a way of taking an idea and making it seem original.

There where quite a few reasons of why/how this started. Now it's habit and just seems to works for me.

I'm guessing it's about 6 hour round trip. Pretty slow going up due to po-po.

Hi there
I'm new to Seattle, and also new to this forum. Although 4 AM seems a little extreme to me, I'd like to join this run.
Is it open to everyone?
And where or what is Baker?

I'm sure Inspector would be fine with you joining the ride, but he may be gruff about riding with you unless you post an introduction here: http://www.emeraldcitycycle.com/forumdisplay.php?f=17

Hi, 0400 is early but passing cars sucks on Baker, hence the early leave time. Any ride posted is open to anyone. Just follow the unposted/non-talked about rules and you'll do fine

Anyhow, he got it Monday, so I told him I'd log some miles with him Sat...and I think I have a couple other riders +/- a noob or two to go along...so once I find out when that's scheduled for I may get my ass up at 3:30 to roll on this ride.

If I do go, you better not be having "cuddle time" in fucking Renton...

Edit:

Yard you really going to go on this if I do? I'm srsly debating it...you're free to join up on my new noob ride as well...think we're doing winthrop...but my noob seriously has less than 50 miles on a bike under his belt...

We'll see.

I'm getting tired just thinking about both these rides in one day...

Dependent on how fast I can bang through a full service on my friend's bike Friday night.
