How about handle bars. Ape hangers(sp). Do they make it hard to steer? I would think you don't get enough leverage.

That was funny................ and im sure, true.
I havent seen to many bike that look decent with ape hangers.
a guy up the street was trying to sell a vulcan 1600 with apes on it, and it looked stupid, nice bike other than that.
yesterday i went to get front wheel bearings for my wifes bike and sat on a new road star warrior, it had straight bars on it so you leaned more forward like your guys sportbikes, felt weird to me. Awesome looking bike, had the biggest exhaust can i think i ever seen, and chromed like a mirror where you could pop zits in it.
I preferr pull back bars for their comfort, I like to hold myself off them and slouch, letting my back stretch.
the problem i ve found with alot of that style of bar, is, the angle of your wrist. its not a natural position, i need to spread my bars apart a bit more to get the angle i want.

Ya the ape hangers don't look comfortable. I rode a Harley the other day and I was actually a little intimidated. It was much longer than my bike and it had floor boards so I couldn't lean it. It was really awkward to drive. I think if I was to get a Harley or cruiser I would have to totally have to relearn to ride.

What about the Choppers Like the ones on OC? What do you think the comforabiliy is on one of those. They don't look all that comfy, but they do look cool especially the themed ones.

thats the same thing i thought when i sat i my friends kawi saturday, laying on the tank, couldnt sit flat footed, pegs almost behind me................wierd!!!!!!!
those oc choppers look allright for comfort to me, most of them anyways.
They do make some wicked looking bikes.

For $100K I can get an awful lot of bikes. I don't know if I would want to spend it on just one.
