my old man is a cruiser dude so i've done time on a few goldwings & his valk. big motherfawkers i tell ya.
he also had a kawi 750 somethin or other a couple years back that i rolled down to central oregon on. it was comfy on the straights but when it came time for twisties i wrung its neck and came out a little disappointed every time.
i've done a few long rides with my old man & his crew and totally get why they ride them but at this point i'm still willing to put up with the pain when i get home for the fun i have on the road. you can still walk away from most cars on a cruiser in the twisties but i enjoy being able to walk away from the cruisers still.
i've never owned a riding mower but had one at a rental place once. i had a 3 beer lawn that i mowed every single day! there was a hump in the middle that i could almost catch air on if i hit it at full speed... i didnt ride back then.
