oh man...here we go.. we probably could have found a route through using the gps, but i usually do better if i studied a map the night before...i didn't study..

topo maps ftw! I print them off of the areas I'm riding the night before. Wish i had a Garmin GPSMAP 276C tho.

we all should have studied or brought a copy of the map. rookie mistake. no bigs. i'd be willing to give it another go sometime. we have to make it thru tho cuz i don't wanna ride back down the pass again. ever.

i have a feeling the gate we ran into is blocking people from getting vehicles into lester because its just up the road.

also. looked at latest copy of nw ds rides by sound rider. looks like the loop we did is what's in the book now. no more straight across stampede. it's now the stampede pass loop.

umm yeah thats another loop you can do. you guys should have took a left onto fs 52 then hop on fs 7036 to fs 7038 to fs 7030 to fs 70 then onto 410. you still can do that loop, yard sale was correct about that gate its blocking peeps from driving into lester. some of the roads you should have used.>> http://www.advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=508456
