there's actually a long run we could make from eburg up to winthrop mostly via fs roads, but i don't see that in my cards this year yet. i'd turn it into a 2 day trip. tow out to e-burg. then ride up, camp/motel, then ride back.

i can back road us to teh quah from where ever we come out on 410. not tons of twisty but probably better than slabbin it.

That was the worst freeway experience EVAR! Getting blown all around like that. Me=Bobble Head

*funny, on the way home ambulance with lights. I was one of the few to get all the way over to the (right). Sped up to keep him in my sights and there is a stater sitting in the median. Took the very first exit I could after that. LOL

They were good. Some parts you could really get moving on being hardpacked and all. The gate pissed me off thou, (picture from yardy above). So we couldn't get throu.

we didn't go anywhere you couldn't have gone on your bike. we did leave the road a few times but every time we tried router fell.

plus my chain was about to fall off thx to my awesome mechanical abilities...
the intent of this ride was more to find a good newb route, go rug shopping and see if we could make the loop which thanks to the gate we couldn't.

the gate was on fs54 which we should have turned off from but didn't. once we hit the gate which is probably where it shows 54 ending on the map in the first post, we went up and found 52 but took it back toward i90 instead of hitting 7036. next time maybe one of us will print the map cuz there were plenty of signs out there which was nice or woulda been had we known what roads to look for.
