Curious if any peeps on here have used, or heard pos. or neg. about battlax BT-002's? Description sounds good and priced reasonable.
i'ts well known 014's are crap, just wondering if anybody has tried them before, thanks.

Gee, I never knew BT014's were crap. Well known eh? I got a set on my FZR that works just fine. Better than Powers. I thought they were maybe a little twitchy over bridge grating but other than that they are just fine. Nice traction in the rain too. They don't get greasy like Powers when they come up to temp either.

^well, the 5-7 people that i have spoken to that have had them said, alot more negaitive things about them, than positive, hence kinda crapy(in my world). If there had been overwhelming praise about them, i would be using them, know what i mean?

Just out of curiosity, How many of them have actually owned a set?
Lots of guys on sport bikes talk trash about various things they know nothing about. And of those people...how many of them can ride past their tires? How many of them have a clue about how to set up their suspension?
Bear in mind, I'm not gettin down on you, I'm just asking the pertinate questions.
Lots of guys gots to have the greatest thing out there (as defined by some dumbass what don't know shit)
Lots of guys like Dunlops, Personally I don't like them. Lots of guys like Pilot Powers, I think they get slippery when warm, Go figure...
I like the CorsaIII's on my R1. I like the BT014's on my FZR. I can tell the difference, but I've never ridden with you so, I have no idea if you can or not...

Every person i spoke to about the 14's had negative things to say, each and every one, i was looking at them on there bike. don't know 100's of people, so that could change. On misc. forums, again, disliked More than praised. bout sums it up for my decision, end result, C- . Im fine not spending money on them.
i think we have rode, one day with jay, dom, Dj, your an older gentlmen with bubble bee R1, if i remmeber correctly.
Ever had the 002's????

I personally like the 014, but like Jim says, I haven't ridden any tire close to their limits. Powers got slippery when on the track, but otherwise turned in very quickly. The Corsa III's has good grip, but more of a round profile and doesn't tip in as quickly. I wanna try the M3s next.

i think my 954 had bt14's originally. they were ok. i got a ton of miles out of em.
i just like the feel of the pilots. i'm used to the profile, cold grip, heated grip etc. and they have yet to let me down... or should i say i have yet to find their limit so i just stick with them.

I just got a set of the 021's. I've only put about 200mi or so on them so far, but I like them. They have a nice sharp turn in, but that could be because my PP's had a nice skunk stripe in them. They also work great in the wet. I broke traction a few times on the PP's from letting the clutch in too fast + too much rear brake, but so far I haven't on the 021's. We'll see what happens though.
Adrian was telling me that these are a newer version of what the seattle PD uses on their motorcycles. So they last a ton longer than PP's do.
I'm nowhere close to outriding my tires, so you can take this w a grain of salt if you want.

^^Really?, they went through that many heat cycles and miles and still gave as much confidence and grip as first thou. miles or so?, Wow! if that's the case, me and many others are WAY wrong about those tires. good to know, Thanks.

I put a set on the 12 near the end of the season, but they only lasted about 3,000 miles(the last 500 mi. 2 up).
They stuck really well for about 2,000 mi. then seemed to lose the feel they had. When I removed them they where definitely done the front was the worst it had actual flat spots on the sides.
The 12 is heavy and hard on tires so they may last a lot longer on lighter bikes.

I’m hoping that everything will be fine soon. Also, I was watching the weather forecast for the next week, they are saying that there will be rain next week. So, let’s hope for the best. I’m really tired of this hot weather and I’m so looking forward to it when it ends speedput
