Todays RR

Decided to see how much snow was at exit 38. Don't think I even made it up a mile before hitting this. One pic is looking up and one is looking down. Just around the bend it turned to all snow and wasn't any fun so turned around.

Jeep was coming up the road so I tried pulling over to let him pass. Didn't quite make it. Nice guy waited for me to pick the bike up. He said the road continues on for awhile and there is also a powerline road. Might be a fun place once all the snow is gone.

Next on the way back decided to hit up Yardies road (56?). IDK. The road was closed do to damage. Here are a few pics from it. (the hikers were nice and waved to me. maybe because i slowed way down anytime someone was near.)

underneath bridge.

Kept going until hitting this. I think it was about 9 miles in.

These pics are just random stopings on the way back down the road.

Started heading home along a back street when I saw a barrier. Hmmm, wonder what is behing that. Turned around and went back. Here are a few pics of the nice little area I found.

Oh missed these two pics.

and the bike when I got back.

Couple of things. A little bit windy on the way up. At one point close to the exit I had the bike pinned and was only going 69mph (observed of course)
Down the second road my eyes started to itch. Never had allergies bug my eyes before, but fuck they were bad, still are.

Oh yeah, looks like fun times. We seriously need some hot days to melt this snow pack, my favorite trails are still feet deep in snow!
