If someone where to plan this, I might be inclined to truck up. Since I would be the only one on knobbies...I get to play in the rear (which is why i won't plan this one). That way I get the chance to ass-pack someone.

*edit...or i do have another run around the same area. I'll have to google the length of said run. It's 45min from bottom to top on a lazy ride. I'm guessing Baker is longer?

just got back from almost baker.

bike fell over, fucked up my shifter and clutch lever, when I stopped to let the people who wouldn't let me pass have some space before I caught back up to them. I turned around and limped home.

Shifter is beyond man-o-vation.

Clutch lever replacement is bought.

I changed the oil this morning, so when I stopped to give space to the people ahead of me, I stepped off the bike and stood it up to check the oil level.

it was fine, but I was on an incline.

not sure how rolling backwards jiggled the kickstand, or if it was the angle of the bars, but the kickstand gave way and over it went.

helmet and tank bag went rolling.

I yelled "fuck" and stood it up.

shifter linkage is interfering with itself.

clutch lever rolled in a bit.

downshifting works.

upshifting works, but only kinda....you have to knock the shifter back down to upshift again.

clutch lever replacement has been purchased.

bendy bike didn't have a shifter for me.
