anyone what cares feel free to comment or make suggestions. werd.

Sweet, what better way to spend Tax Day.

I vote for May 13th though.

koorbloh 03-06-2009 06:46 AM

if it's not a weekend, I'm 300% out. I want to get out at least once this year.

thoughts on running sport touring tires?

nice work on the calendar tim!

you should be fine on sport touring tires for one track day, maybe 2. i doubt you'll be out there trying to break any records.

yup, you should be fine...

koorbloh 03-06-2009 08:20 AM

k good, I don't wanna go through the hassle of buying take offs that I may not get a chance to wear down this year before it gets wet again.

all I need is a zipper and time to go....and maybe more tape...

shelbyguy 03-06-2009 08:22 AM

hahahahahha...
a zipper....owned..

btw.im in for prolly 2-3 trackdays each month from the looks of that schedule...thanks yardie.

as for the ecc day...i just need to know ahead of time so i can get the time off if it has to be a sat, and it sounds like it will be..

jeff, you dont NEED leather pants...if your in the b group you can wear textiles...

nothing solid yet, but just got off the phoney with Maric_57. he and I are thinking that the 3rd and 4th days of June will be ours. Cobra was telling me that if you get a set of days, you get something like $30 off. Pretty good deal.

cobra525 03-07-2009 09:08 PM

dooooo eeeet

GSXR 03-07-2009 09:10 PM

He don't know yet bro. He's gotta check in with his calendar. As for me, I can pretty much get any day off. Just depends on Jason man. He's going to get back to me and such later in the week or so. I'll let you know bro.

btw, he kinda panicked and said he meant to say a 'weekend' and not weekday. So that's why he's gotta check with his work schedule and such.

cobra525 03-07-2009 09:13 PM

tell him to call me or look up the 2fast sched. we have week ends too. Several

But are they consecutive days? He's going to make a trip out of it. I doubt he'll want to be away from his family too long.

GSXR 03-07-2009 09:18 PM

Nevermind. By the looks of the calendar, there aren't consecutive days (AT PACIFIC) for 2 fast, other than the 3rd and 4th of June.

tokin 03-08-2009 11:27 AM

what's a track day

You never said that it had to be at pacific. Spokane would be close for him. ORP is gonna be open. And I would haul yer azz to either of them.

Git er dun

GSXR 03-08-2009 06:47 PM

Jason text me earlier today. Said he's going to ORP. Fuck him. Actually, I don't know bro. Maybe that means I have to do ORP now too. I dunno. But does ORP have two consecutive days (either weekend, or weekday doesn't matter) in the 2-fast league of options? Also, this would entail a hotel stay in Oregon I presume?

Was this the track that was primarliy right handers?

Plummy 03-08-2009 06:50 PM

orp is the new track. pir has the right-handers. i'll let someone who knows what they're talking about answer if orp is right-handers as well.

if it is, that says something about oregonians.

dunno what, though.

cobra525 03-08-2009 06:53 PM

Jim, ORP May 16-17 sat/sun
ORP Aug 15-16 sat/sun

Hotel mebbe, prolly just sleep in the trailer. Track is 45 minutes from civilization

GSXR 03-08-2009 06:55 PM

If I do ORP plummy, will you go too? Not trying to be funny here, I'm serious.

Otherwise, I think I'll just do PIR. I really don't see a need or the necessity for me to do 2 track days, hotel, food, gas, etc etc when the wife is only expecting me to do only one.

Bobbie, how in the hell am I supposed to explain all this other shit to her man? It's a miracle I'll be able to do the one alone.

Plummy 03-08-2009 06:56 PM

umm...may is bad for me but could consider the july one.

it'll be hot as fuck, though.

Bobbie, don't mean to be a puss, but I can't stand waking up in the AM without taking a shower. It erk's me otherwise. Jason's the same way bro. In fact, he's worse than I am.

You know what....this will be a new track for all of us. Okay....let's go. I'm commited now. Heh...that was cake.

But I don't know about more than one day tho. And if I do, I will indeed need to stay in a hotel. (no motels please)

GSXR 03-08-2009 07:04 PM

this will be expensive.

which day? i don't care. whichever one has fewer people signed up so i don't feel so bad holding people up from my shitty lines and not knowing where i'm going to end up going.

i'd be better off staying in the pit serving brownies, red bull, and massages.

GSXR 03-08-2009 07:08 PM

haha.

cobra525 03-08-2009 07:29 PM

Bleh, WHEN I go out of town, I am staying for both days. Period.

Jim, you are more than welcome to come with me or not. I will give you first spot in my truck/ trailer. Gas does not have to be a factor.
I AM GOING WITH OR WITHOUT YOU. If you decide to pitch in, great, if not thats fine too.(how else will i get ya hooked) You two pussies can worry about the hotel, as of now I am not.

GSXR 03-08-2009 08:08 PM

I wonder how fast you'll be on a track you've never been on.

cobra525 03-08-2009 08:25 PM

2 days FTMFW

GSXR 03-08-2009 09:17 PM

...would be the funniest thing if I go, and am only shy from tailin' your ass since you aren't familiar with the track. It probably won't happen, but just sayin' how funny it'd be.

cobra525 03-08-2009 09:35 PM

Why would it be funny? You just might be a better rider than both of us realize. Not to mention, you would have no idea "how much" I have left to go because of the group you would be in. I will not "push" you like you might think I would, weather you are following me or not. I will do everything I know to keep you from riding over your head. blah blah blah. The one thing I can guarantee is you will still have no idea how "fast" I can go from being out there with me for one or two TD's. I'm not tooting my horn, just stating fact. So stop worriying about keeping up with me, and just be out there for what it is. A HELLUVA LOTTA FUKKIN FUN

Plummy 03-08-2009 09:37 PM

you two are bickering like an old married couple.

shelbyguy 03-08-2009 10:03 PM

here comes the bride....

Grantizzle 03-08-2009 11:08 PM

If all married couples could be as happy as you two, divorce rates would plummet and stock for personal lubricants would go through the roof.
